Homeless Community Update Meeting

The City has taken an increasingly proactive approach to addressing homelessness in Lake Elsinore for the last couple of years. While we have made significant progress, we continue to strive to reduce the impact of homelessness on our residents and businesses while offering help to those in need.

Join us for this community meeting to learn more about the State of Homelessness in Lake Elsinore and the City's ongoing and future efforts to address homelessness including:

1. Plans for a one-time $1.5 million grant awarded to the City of Lake Elsinore, Wildomar and surrounding unincorporated areas for new efforts that will start in August.

2. An introduction to our non-profit partner and street outreach team The SWAG, which yielded real results by helping more than 50 individuals get the help they need.

3. An update from our law enforcement team about success to date and their approach to address homelessness.

4. Ways residents, businesses, property owners, non-profit and community groups can support the City’s upcoming efforts.

Citizens from Lake Elsinore, Wildomar, and surrounding Riverside County District 1 residents are all welcome and encouraged to attend.

This meeting will be conducted in a town hall format. It is open to all concerned community members and there is no fee to attend.
