The 2019 Superbloom is a natural phenomenon unlike anything the City has ever experienced and demonstrates the extreme beauty of the City of Lake Elsinore. We would like to thank residents and visitors for their patience as we faced substantial challenges related to this international attraction. At this time, the City is experiencing a high call volume. Walker Canyon is currently open, however parking is very limited. Lake Street and Nichols Road are also now open. For more information, call the Superbloom Hotline at 951-471-1238 or check the City's social media feeds.

Railroad Canyon Road Widening Project

Please correct the field(s) marked in red below:

On January 7th, the City of Lake Elsinore started the Railroad Canyon Road Widening and Pavement Improvement Project

The project will expand this critical regional roadway to three lanes of traffic in each direction between Grape Street and Canyon Hills Road and a full pavement rehabilitation.

Construction hours are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. with night work when needed between 8 p.m. and 4 a.m. Road and lane closures are expected throughout the project, which should be completed in April 2019. The City has explored all cost effective and reasonable steps available to reduce the impact to our residents and commuters.

If you have any questions, comments or concerns related to this vital project, you may use the form below or call (951) 674-1344.
