Volunteer opportunity for residents and business owners
Accepting PSAC Commission Applications until 4 p.m., May 27th
What: Three Public Safety Advisory Commission (PSAC) seats will be available in June of 2009.
Who: Any citizen who resides within the City Limits or is an owner of a business in Lake Elsinore may apply. Interviews will be conducted the first week of June by a City Council interview committee.
How: The public application period is from Wednesday, April 29th to Wednesday, May 27th. Applications are available beginning Wednesday, April 29th at the City Clerk’s office or by downloading the official Commission Application (PDF 141KB).
When: Appointment recommendations will be presented to the City Council on June 9. New or reappointed Commissioners will be seated at the PSAC meeting on July 8, 2009.
|The Public Safety Advisory Commission meets every second Wednesday of the month to hear public input about safety issues and to develop and present public safety recommendations to the City Council for consideration. PSAC Commissioners also make presentations to the community and participate in the City’s public outreach efforts. Commissioners serve four year staggered terms.|
Where: Return signed and completed applications to the City Clerk’s Office by 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 27, 2009.

|PSAC meetings are held every second Wednesday of the month, at 6:00 p.m., in the Cultural Center, 183 North Main Street. Meetings are open to the public.|
