Project to Complete Critical Gap for Pedestrians
On September 17th, the City began construction of the long-awaited Lakeshore Drive sidewalk and bike lane project. The purpose is to complete this critical gap in our sidewalks to create a safer route for many pedestrians that use this roadway every day.

Project Location: Lakeshore Drive between Machado Street & Wise Street
Project Impacts: No major road closures are planned. However, the roadway will be narrowed and there could be some short-term closures for connecting roads as needed for the project.
