Business Roundtable Looks At Tourism Opportunities
“Tourism Business Summit“ Roundtable Event Announced
The City of Lake Elsinore, Elsinore Valley Chamber of Commerce and Lake Elsinore Outlets will be hosting a Business Summit Roundtable to focus on Tourism Related Businesses Wednesday, November 10, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Lake Elsinore Outlets.
Check-in/Registration at 5:45 p.m.
“Tourism is considered one of the biggest industries of the 21st century. This is an opportunity for local businesses to share their ideas and experiences with one another. It is designed with the intent of strengthening their partnership with each other, the City and the Chamber of Commerce, to increase tourism in Lake Elsinore.” Mayor Melissa Melendez
This is the first in a series of business sector focused forums the City will be hosting over the next year for the purpose of gathering information on local perspectives. These informal forums will be a way to share experiences, exchange ideas and gain valuable feedback.
In addition, the business community will be encouraged to form partnerships and generate suggestions to resolve common concerns. Participants in this first forum will work in small groups to discuss topics such as “how to take advantage of current traffic and tourism” or “how to better define Lake Elsinore as a tourism destination.”
Because seating is limited, those interested in participating are encouraged to RSVP by Monday, November 8th, to the Elsinore Valley Chamber of Commerce at (951) 245-8848.
