The COVID-19 situation is changing regularly. The City is fully engaged and we are making critical decisions based on the guidance of County, State and Federal Public Health Officials to best protect the health and safety of our community. City Hall is currently closed to the public. However, we continue to provide all of the essential services our community counts on. For the latest updates, event cancellations, and closures, visit our web page. Please stay informed, follow public health orders, and do whatever you can to stay home so we can get through this, together, and start our recovery. Thank you for your support during this during this rapidly evolving, unprecedented time.

Launch Pointe COVID-19 Update

Response to Coronavirus Pandemic

March 20, 2020

Launch Pointe, Southern California's Ultimate Recreation Destination and RV Park is CURRENTLY OPEN. Launch Pointe is being sensitive and very cautious to protect the staff and guests by following all local, state, and federal guidelines during this Covid-19 epidemic. For example, all check-in procedures have been amended to limit the number of individuals in the check-in building, effectively allowing a "remote" check-in procedure. All public hard surfaces are cleaned and sanitized hourly. The Bobber will be open for take-out orders. Picnic tables are available on-site if desired. All group activities, rentals in the community hall, and socials have been cancelled until social distancing guidelines are amended.

Effective immediately, the swimming pool, hot tub, splash pad, and playground are all closed indefinitely. No guest access will be permitted in these locations in an effort to follow social distancing guidelines. The laundry facility is still open, however, we request all guests limit just one individual in there at a time. Launch Pointe will be implementing a new notification application where guests can contact front desk staff, housekeeping, and maintenance to relay any messages.

Camping, RVing, and Fishing are all activities that lend themselves to promote social distancing. Camping is a way to connect with nature in solitude. Rving, although traditionally done in RV parks is a personal home away from home. Moreover, fishing directly next to someone limits your opportunity to land "the big one".

By implementing social distancing practices from the check-in process to canceling all social activities, we can provide a safe space for displaced RVers as well as locals looking to break free from their "cabin fever" and experience the fresh air and fresh beauty of Lake Elsinore.
