A groundbreaking ceremony for the new Children's Playground at Summerhill Park will take place this Friday, July 27th, at 12:00 Noon. Members of the public are cordially invited to the City's groundbreaking ceremony to kick-off the new improvements.

The new Childrens Playground will feature climbing apparatuses for pre-school children (2 - 5 years), as well as play equipment for kids (5 - 12 years). The improvements will include sidewalks, wood fiber fall zone, decorative tubular safety fencing, three (3) picnic tables and a 2,500 square-foot shade canopy. This playground is patterned after the existing playground at Rosetta Canyon Park, as pictured below.
