Formed in 2000, the Lake Elsinore & San Jacinto Watersheds Authority is a joint powers authority made up of the following member agencies:

LESJWA was entrusted with $15 million in voter authorized state and local funding to improve water quality and wildlife habitats in Lake Elsinore, Canyon Lake and the surrounding San Jacinto watershed.

All LESJWA meetings are held at EVMWD's headquarters in Lake Elsinore and are open to the public.

  • Beginning in February 2010, LESJWA Board Meetings will be held the third Thursday of every other month at 4:00 p.m. The January 2010 meeting is cancelled.
