Civil Marriage Ceremonies may be performed by City Clerks throughout the State of California.  In Lake Elsinore, you must make an appointment in advance to be married by the City Clerk.

Civil ceremonies take place at various locations throughout the City: Cultural Center, City Park Gazebo, Elm Grove Beach, Launch Pointe, City Hall during City Hall hours - Monday through Thursday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; every other Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.  City Hall is closed holidays and weekends.  Evening and weekend appointments may be arranged at some facilities by appointment only.

In order to be married by the City Clerk, you will need to obtain a marriage license from the County of Riverside and bring the original marriage license with you on the day of your ceremony.  Both parties must present and have valid photo identification (i.e. driver’s license or passport).  The fee for the ceremony is based on location and City services provided.
