Full-time City employees are eligible for the following benefits:

 

CAFETERIA PLAN
  • The City will contribute up to $1,500 per month towards optional benefits, including health insurance premiums, dental insurance premiums, vision insurance premiums, additional life insurance premiums, flexible spending accounts, and other supplemental insurance premiums.

CALPERS
RETIREMENT

  • 2% @ 60 for classic employees

    Employee contribution is 7%

  • 2% @ 62 for PEPRA members
    Employee contribution is 6.75%

TUITION REIMBURSEMENT 
  • City will reimburse up to $3,250 for pre-approved, eligible educational expenses
WORK BOOT ALLOWANCE
  • $200 per fiscal year for eligible employees
BILINGUAL PAY
  • $900 per fiscal year for eligible employees
RETIREMENT HEALTH
  • Eligible for PEMCHA minimum

  • Option to join employee Union and Union Pension fund program
