The 2019 Superbloom is a natural phenomenon unlike anything the City has ever experienced and demonstrates the extreme beauty of the City of Lake Elsinore. We would like to thank residents and visitors for their patience as we faced substantial challenges related to this international attraction. At this time, the City is experiencing a high call volume. Walker Canyon is currently open, however parking is very limited. Lake Street and Nichols Road are also now open. 2018 General Municipal Election

The 2018 General Municipal Election will be the first By-District election in Lake Elsinore's history.  On February 1, 2018, the City switched from At-Large elections (all registered voters get to vote for all open seats) to By-District elections (only registered voters in the district seat which is open get to vote for that seat).

The election for District  (Daryl Hickman, Incumbent) will be on November 6, 2018. Find my District

The Nomination Period is now closed.  Write-In Candidacy begins on September 10th, those interested in filing as a write-in candidate should contact the City Clerk, Susan M. Domen, to make an appointment for pulling Nomination Papers.

On August 21st the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2018-116 appointing Brian Tisdale as the duly elected candidate for District 1 and cancelling the election of said District.  There will be no write-in period for District No. 1.
