Lake Elsinore Senior Activity Center 

The Lake Elsinore Senior Activity Center provides a wide variety of recreational, self-enrichment and education programs for participants 55 and older. The facility includes a state of the art computer lab, billiard room,  a reading room, dining hall, patio areas, and a service kitchen. The Thelma Ball Memorial Hall located adjacent to the Senior Center is a multi-purpose room and restroom facility.

The Center is located adjacent to Lakepoint Park, which offers a leisurely walking course with views of beautiful Lake Elsinore. This friendly facility provides social, recreational, physical and educational opportunities at low or no cost. Its open space and warm style may be just what you're looking for.

For our New Members

The Center asks that every new member reads through and fills out our Senior Center Code of Conduct. You may pick one up at the Center or download a copy in   Code of Conduct English or Code of Conduct  Spanish

Programs and Activities

The Center offers a variety of programs and activities including art classes, Billiards, Dominos, Book Club, Bunco, Senior Rockerz', HandiCrafters w/Heather and many more. 

Services
Services provided by our Center include paralegal services, LIHEAP, health, and education programs. Many services are day and time specific and may require appointments. Most services are offered to adults ages 55+ years and many have age requirements.

Legal Advice

Anita Cheek Milner provides free legal advice for seniors 55+ on the second and fourth Thursday of each month.  This is by appointment only, you can stop in at the Senior Activity Center to schedule an appointment or call 951-674-2526.

Senior Newsletter
A monthly newsletter is available for pick up at the center which details special events, programs and special services available during the month, including a calendar of daily activities and a menu of planned meals. Seniors 60+ Nutrition Program
The Nutrition Program is a Riverside County Sponsored program facilitated through Sodexo food services. Must be 60 years and older and qualify through the application process (obtained at the Senior Center) or download here: Congregate Meals Intake Form The program is served daily with a limited number of lunches that require reservations in advance. To reserve, please call 951-674-2526 by 12pm one (1) business day prior to your planned attendance. If you would like to request home-delivered meals because you are housebound, call the Riverside County Office on Aging at 951-867-3800

Birthday Celebration

Join us in  celebrating the monthly birthdays. We celebrate on the last Monday of each month at 11:45.  Tell us your birthday, and we'll put your name on the birthday list.

Healthy Seniors
The Senior Center hosts programs and activities that provide information on maintaining good health. With health-related lectures and free screenings, seniors can get up to date information on issues important to adults 55 years and older. For dates on health screenings or lectures offered, check out the monthly newsletter.

The Senior Center has a Fit after 50 exercise class every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9am - 10am.  This is a Riverside County Office on Aging's  program is designed to increase strength, mobility, balance and prevent falls. All instructors are certified Exercise Program Leaders through the AEA/Arthritis Foundation. 

Thanks to a grant provided from the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) with funding support from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Lake Elsinore Senior Activity Center will offer the Fit & Strong! Program to the Lake Elsinore community. This program is Arthritis-Appropriate, Evidence-Based Interventions (AAEBI)

Fit & Strong! 

This exercise class is an evidence-based physical activity/behavior change intervention that has been successfully implemented in  multiple community-based settings. Participants are older adults who have lower extremity joint pain and stiffness related to osteoarthritis. Fit & Strong! blends a multiple component exercise program with group problem solving/education using a curriculum designed to  facilitate arthritis symptom management, confidence in ability to exercise safely with arthritis, and commitment to lifestyle change. Before the end of the eight-week Fit & Strong! program, participants meet with the instructor to develop individualized exercise plans that foster ongoing maintenance of a balanced physical activity routine. This program will begin on August 15th at 9am. This is an 8-week 28 session program which meets on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
