Q: What are the boating hours?

Q: Is Seaport Boat Launch Open?
A:
Not currently. The only City Boat Launch currently open is La Laguna Resort and Boat Launch located at: 32040 Riverside Dr.

 Q: How much does it cost to use the lake?
A: Daily and Annual Lake Use, Launch, and Resort Pass fees can be found here.

Q: Do I need reservations to launch my boat at the City Boat Launch Facilities (La Laguna Resort & Boat Launch or Seaport Boat Launch)?
A: No, reservations are not required or accepted.

Q: Are two stroke engines allowed on the Lake?
A: Yes.

Q: Is overnight mooring permitted?
A: Only shoreline property owners with an Annual Lakefront Use Pass may moor their vessel overnight.

Q: Is alcohol consumption allowed on City beaches or levee system?
A: Alcohol is not permitted on any City beaches or the levee system, except for at La Laguna Resort and Boat Launch.

Q: Where is the public day use beach located?
A: Elm Grove Beach (500 W. Lakeshore Drive), adjacent to the Seaport Boat Launch AND La Laguna Resort and Boat Launch (32040 Riverside Dr.)

Q: Are showers located at any public beaches?

A: No, there are no public showers at any public beaches. 

Q: Is there a day use fee or parking fee on Elm Grove Beach?
A: No, but there is a Resort fee for parking at La Laguna Resort and Boat Launch.

Q: Can Elm Grove Beach be reached by boat?
A: Yes.

Q: Can I reserve a spot on Elm Grove Beach?
A:Yes, you can reserve a shelter at Elm Grove Beach. Visit the reservations page for a link to the online reservation portal.

Q: Is tubing allowed on the Lake?
A: Inflatable towables are permitted, provided they are used in accordance with the commercial manufacture's intended use.

Q: Are dogs allowed in the lake?

A: Yes, dogs are allowed on and in the lake. However it is not recommended. Dogs should not ingest the water and should always be on a leash. 

Q: Are there fishing beaches?
A: Yes, there are three located on Lakeshore Drive at Townsend Street, Davis Street and Lowell Street. Fishing is also permitted at La Laguna Resort and Boat Launch on Riverside Dr.

Q: Is there a fee for fishing?
A: Fishing fees are only applicable at La Laguna Resort and Boat Launch, all other beaches are free to fish. Anyone 16 years or older must have a valid California State Fishing license to fish.

Q: Is there a fee for parking at the fishing beaches?
A: No, parking is free, except for at La Laguna Resort and Boat Launch.

Q: What are the shoreline fishing hours:
A: 6:00 AM - 10:00 PM.
