The City of Lake Elsinore Active Military Banner Program honors and recognizes active duty military personnel that reside or have an immediate family member that resides in Lake Elsinore. To purchase a banner or make a donation towards the banner program:

Cost:$150.00 (includes printing and installation) 

*If you would like to honor a family member but are experiencing financial hardship, please contact recreation@lake-elsinore.org or (951) 674-3124 ext. 265. Financial assistance based on availability of funds.

Donation:
Donations support military families that would like to honor a family member but cannot do so due to financial hardship.

Criteria:
To qualify for the Military Banner Program, the following criteria must be met:
• The honoree is an active duty member of the United States Armed Forces (and remains an active duty member during the time in which the banner is installed).
• The applicant (immediate family member of honoree) or honoree must be a current resident of Lake Elsinore.

Order:
Submit your order with payment, verification of military status (e.g. Certificate of Active Duty Status), and proof of residency (copy of a utility bill or driver’s license) online by ordering here or download order form here and mail it to the address below. A Certificate of Active Duty Status can be obtained at the SCRA Website: HERE. In addition, please provide an official military photo of the honoree with a resolution of 300 dpi or higher. Submit the photo via the online registration process or via email to recreation@lake-elsinore.org. Please label photo with military person’s name in the following format: “lastname.firstname”. Make checks payable to “City of Lake Elsinore."

Process: 
Orders will be accepted on an ongoing basis. Banners will be installed twice per year in May (application deadline is February 15th) and November (application deadline is August 15th). The installation location is at the discretion of the City. The City is not responsible for replacing lost/stolen banners or repairs from eminent weather.  Banners will be displayed for up to two years (dependent on condition). After this time period, banners will be presented to the honoree or the applicant by the City.
