The City of Lake Elsinore proudly offers special events year round, and with each new season there are new opportunities to explore our City and participate in events that enrich your family life. As 2016 rolls on, there will be more to do and see; we hope you'll  get in on all the action planned at our annual community events.

Volunteers are an important part of many events; if you would like to volunteer, contact our Volunteer Coordinator at 951-674-3124 ext 290. Teens, ages 15 years or older, may volunteer for Special Events earning community service hours  required for graduation. 



Join in the hunt at 1 p.m.. sharp as kids ages 1 to 8 years try to find their share of 8,000 candy stuffed eggs. Visit the Children's Fair after the hunt from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. for free activities, live entertainment, bouncers and food vendors. Come out and enjoy a scenic walk along our Historic Downtown Riverwalk and you will have the opportunity to be entered to win great raffle prizes for your furry friend! Recreation Staff is brewing up a special treat for the community. Be a part of the frightfully fun night with carnival games, activities & crafts. Food available for purchase. Entrance is free and costumes are encouraged.


December 2 - Winterfest

Our annual Winterfest event will now be held in Historic Downtown Lake Elsinore from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Families will enjoy a holiday parade, bouncers, kids crafts, sled runs, cultural and musical entertainment, visits with Santa, crafters, shopping and dining with both restaurants and food vendors. Best parking is along Spring St or in the lot at Heald Ave and Main St across from the Cultural Center. This event reaches four downtown blocks from Heald Ave to City Park, offering low cost or free activities for the whole family. This event is fun for the whole family! Please join us for a yummy pancake and sausage breakfast and crafts for the kids. Have your family photo taken with our local firefighters and our guest of honor, Santa! December 9 - Dinner with Santa

Come celebrate the holiday season with a spaghetti dinner  at Fire Station 10, 410 W Graham Ave with the local firefighters and Santa! Don't forget to bring your cameras!
