Riverside County’s Public Health Department has announced they will be establishing a Drive-up COVID-19 Testing Facility at Diamond Stadium. The facility will be run and managed by Riverside County. All testing will be done by appointment only and participants will be required to stay in their vehicles at all times. More information can be found on the City’s website. The Lake Elsinore Office of the Fire Marshal is dedicated to the preservation of life and property.  We believe the best way to accomplish this goal is through the education of our community, through the engineering of complex situations, and through the enforcement of state and local codes.  Through these efforts, we strive to provide the highest degree of life safety throughout the City of Lake Elsinore at each and every home, workplace, and special event.

The Lake Elsinore Office of the Fire Marshal enforces the 2019 edition of the California Code of Regulations, Titles 19 and 24.  This includes the California Fire Code, California Building Code, and California Residential Code.

Announcements

The Fire Department conducts business license inspections to promote fire safety for business owners, their employees, and the general public.  The forms below have been developed to assist you in making your business a safer place and to prepare you for the fire inspection.  The second form is to assist in determining what business operations may require special permits.

Additionally, the Fire Department has developed a document that may assist owners and operators with ongoing maintenance of buildings and businesses.
Fire Marshal Letter to Building Owners/Tenants

The Fire Department has received reports of phony fire inspectors posing as fire department representatives. The reports state that these phony inspectors enter facilities and conduct inspections, then proceed to bill the tenant large fees for the report.
