COVID-19 BUSINESS LICENSE RELIEF

On March 24, 2020, the City Council formally proclaimed a local emergency. As part of this proclamation, the Council approved an automatic 90-day extension on business license renewals due to Coronavirus (COVID-19). This 90-day extension will be applicable for any business license renewal fees due through June 30, 2020. The City is committed to helping our business community navigate the resources available during these uncertain times. Business licenses can now be renewed online! Renewal notices are mailed 30-45 days prior to the expiration of your business license. Please follow the instructions online to renew your Lake Elsinore business license. You will be asked for your account number (business license number) and your renewal pin # which can be found on your renewal notice in the bottom right corner. 

If your business has moved to a new location within the City or changed ownership, you cannot renew online. You must obtain a new application and approvals for each ownership and location change.
