About the City Manager's Role
The City Manager is responsible for the implementation and administration of the policies and programs adopted by the City Council and for directing the day-to-day operations of the City. Daily operations are performed by an outstanding team of City employees who are dedicated to providing the highest level of service to meet the needs of citizens, business owners and you!
The City Manager and City Council are committed to allocating public resources as effectively and as efficiently as possible, in order to maximize the benefits to all citizens. Each year, the priorities and service levels are set by the City Council during the annual budget process. Revenues and expenditures are closely monitored throughout the fiscal year, which begins July 1st through June 30th.
