The Parks & Recreation Department operates and maintains parks, recreation trails, and recreation facilities throughout the City. More than 120 acres are home to the fifteen developed parks, offering everything from playgrounds and barbecues to athletic fields and a Skate Park...all of which can provide the perfect location if you are planning a party. Park admission is free and the parks are open to the public everyday from sunrise until sunset, or until 10:00 P.M. for the lighted facilities.
Picnic areas may be reserved. For park reservations some restrictions may apply. If you plan to use an inflatable jumper or host a party of 20 or more, a permit is required.
Offered year round, the City has athletic fields that support girl’s softball, youth baseball, adult softball, youth and adult soccer, youth tackle football and travel club play. To maintain healthy turf and safe facilities, the City enforces specific use through themanagement of our Field Maintenance Schedule and rules as outlined in the Athletic Field Manual. Athletic fields may be reserved for sporting events and special occasion events. Use of athletic fields is by permit. Call (951) 245-0442 for more information and availability.
