Recreation Center

HISTORY 

Originally built in the 1950s as a movie theater, the Lake Community Center was renovated in 1990 to become the city's first Senior & Community Center offering senior programs, after school programs, drop in sports and recreational classes. Currently, the center still operates programs for youth, adults and seniors. 

THE LAKE COMMUNITY CENTER

The Lake Community Center is open daily for drop in fitness and sports, dance, music, art and tiny tots programs. This 8,000 square foot facility is available for rentals and offers a spacious gymnasium, kitchen, and two meeting rooms. It is the perfect location for wedding receptions, birthday parties, banquets and large meetings.

Our dedicated staff and class instructors provide safe, healthy and fun experiences for residents and visitors of all ages.
