Our Center The Lake Elsinore Senior Activity Center provides a wide variety of recreational, self-enrichment and education programs for the over 50 generation. The facility includes a state of the art computer lab, billiard room, television lounge, a reading room, and a dinning hall. The Thelma Ball Memorial Hall located adjacent to the Senior Center is a 3,000 square foot multi-purpose room with a separate kitchen and restroom facility. The center is located adjacent to Lakepoint Park, which offers a leisurely walking course with views of the beautiful Lake Elsinore.
This friendly facility provides social, recreational, physical and educational opportunities at low or no cost. Its open space and warm style may be just what you're looking for.

Programs and Activities The center offers exercise classes, art classes, Line Dance lessons, computer classes, and AARP Driver Safety courses. Each month our seniors look forward to a variety of enjoyable activities such as morning coffee, drop-in pool, computer lab, movies, casino trips, and bridge. Many of the activities are available most daysbut use is subject to change from the posted schedule due to special engagements or programs.
Cool Center During extremely hot weather, the Senior Center is a County designated cool center. The City operates this cool center as a safe shelter against extreme heat for individuals who may be at risk during hot weather, or are unable to afford the expense of running a home air conditioner during prolonged heat spells. Services Services provided by our center include paralegal services, food distribution, social security administration, blood pressure clinics, health screenings, HICAP, C.A.R.E., LIHEAP, bread distribution, notary services, health and education programs, and bereavement programs. Many services are day and time specific and may require appointments.
Senior Newsletter A monthly newsletter is available for pick up at the center and details the special events, programs and special services available during the month, including a calendar of daily activities and a menu of planned meals.
Special Event The 2010 Day of Caring event is a day of fix-up and make-overs. On September 11, 2010, hundreds of volunteers will team up to do hands-on Community Service Projects throughout western Riverside County. Visit the United Way of the Inland Valleys web site for more information.
