and lake use rules.
Swimming is prohibited. No lifeguard on duty.
Lake Rules for Vessels and Personal Watercraft
- All California Boating Laws are enforced, as well as Lake
Elsinore Municipal Code violations
- The direction of travel on the lake is Counter-Clockwise

and High Speed Zone; and High Speed Zone in the middle of
the lake, (there is no speed limit in High Speed Zone)
- Water skiing tow ropes over 75 feet are illegal

Slow Down on Blue Flashing Light
California Boating Law requires that you immediately slow
down when passing by a law enforcement patrol vessel that
is displaying a blue flashing light. You may only maintain
that
speed that is sufficient to maintain steerage only of your
vessel, and maintain reduced speed until beyond the area of
the law enforcement vessel.
Boating Safety Instruction
We highly recommend new boat operators take a basic boating
safety class from the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary.
Boat smart from the start!
