Third meeting with FHWA is planned to confirm required technical studies acceptable by FHWA. Processing of environmental documents/project approval in progress. Processing of TUMF reimbursement $1.356 million for R/W costs in progress. |

| Status: | Seven projects were approved for funding from 2006 SB-821. Bids were opened on June 27, 2007. EGN Construction Inc. is the low bidder. Construction of sidewalks is proceeding on several streets. Project has been completed. Inspector going over final project costs with contractor. |

| Status: | PR and design plans under Caltrans review. Anticipate advertisement for construction in January 2007. Environmental determination, exemption and geometric design were approved by Caltrans. 100% PSE is submitted for Caltrans review. Drainage report was approved on December 27, 2006. Final PSE submitted. Soils Report approved 2/1/07. NPDES Report approved 1/22/07. PSR-PR approved 6/13/07. PS & E and R/W certification approved by Caltrans Sept. 11, 2007. R/W dedication from Arco recorded 8/30/07. Caltrans permit was received on Sept. 27, 2007. Preparation of specifications/ special provisions for construction is in progress. Tentative advertisement for construction in January 2008. |

| Status: | Meeting w/CALTRANS was held on February 28, 2007. Caltrans rejected the city's proposal to signalize the intersection at its current configuration. Caltrans separate project to provide left turn pockets on SR-74 is currently under environmental review. Caltrans is reconsidering approval of the City's design and possibly handing over the Caltrans project to the city. A meeting is tentatively scheduled for Nov. 14th. Staff awaiting approval and/or direction from Caltrans regarding City's proposed traffic signal design. |
