History

Originally built in the 1950s as a movie theater, the Lake Community Center was renovated in 1990 to become the city's first Senior and Community Center offering senior programs, after-school programs, drop-in sports, and recreational classes. Currently, the center still operates programs for all ages.

The Lake Community Center

The Lake Community Center is open for a variety of recreation classes and on a reservation basis. This 8,000-square-foot facility is available for weekend rentals and offers a spacious gymnasium with an attached kitchen. It is the perfect location for receptions, birthday parties, banquets, and large meetings. Fill out the facility reservations form if you are interested in booking the facility.
