History

Originally built in the 1950s as a movie theater, the Lake Community Center was renovated in 1990 to become the City's first Senior and Community Center offering senior programs, after school programs, drop in sports, and recreational classes. Currently, the center still operates programs for all ages.

Overview

The Lake Community Center is open for a variety of recreation classes and on a reservation basis. This 8,000 square foot facility is available for weekend rentals and offers a spacious gymnasium with an attached kitchen. It is the perfect location for receptions, birthday parties, banquets, and large meetings. Fill out the Indoor Facilities Reservation Form (PDF) if you are interested in booking the facility.
