The City of Lake Elsinore, in partnership with The Inland Empire Community Foundation, is excited to administer the Carl Graves Scholarship
The City of Lake Elsinore is offering scholarships to high school seniors within the Lake Elsinore Unified School District. Four scholarships, each worth $4,000 per year, are available to graduating seniors from Elsinore, Temescal Canyon, Lakeside, Ortega, or Keith McCarthy Academy. Additionally, one $6,000 scholarship is available for a student pursuing a collegiate Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program.
To be eligible, applicants must be graduating seniors with a minimum GPA of 3.0, currently attending a Lake Elsinore Unified School District high school, and planning to attend a four-year college, technical school, or community college with the intention to transfer to a four-year college or university. Priority will be given to applicants with a strong record of community service, particularly those who have volunteered for City programs and events or participated in the Dream Extreme Future Leaders Program.
The application deadline is Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at 5 PM (Pacific Standard Time). Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted. Scholarship funds will be disbursed directly to the college or technical school in the fall of each year, and students will be responsible for submitting required information to the Inland Empire Community Foundation when tuition and fees are due.
