The City of Lake Elsinore is now accepting applications for appointment to the Measure Z Citizen Committee.
The City of Lake Elsinore is seeking applicants to fill three seats on the Measure Z Citizen Committee representing Districts 2, 4, and 5. Appointed members will serve a term ending December 31, 2027. The Measure Z Citizen Committee provides oversight and accountability for the City’s Measure Z funds. Members meet at least twice per year to review and report on the use of funds for public safety and essential services.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must reside in the Council District for which they are appointed (exceptions may apply if no qualified applicants are available in that district).
- Cannot serve on another City Commission, or be a City officer, employee, or contractor.
- Appointment is subject to a routine background check.
