Riverside Transit Agency (RTA)

RTA routes have been designed for your convenience. In most cases, one route will serve your trip needs. Occasionally, you may need to take more than one route to reach your destination.

Dial-A-Ride

Dial-A-Ride is an origin-to-destination advanced reservation transportation service for seniors and persons with disabilities. Dial-A-Ride vehicles travel to areas within three-quarters of a mile of an RTA local fixed route. These areas are called the Dial-A-Ride service area, and trips must begin and end within that area. If your trip starts or ends outside the service area, you will need to find a safe location within the zone to be picked up and dropped off in order to use the service.

Dial-A-Ride customers may schedule rides one to three days in advance. RTA encourages customers to provide as much advance notice as possible to allow schedulers to route vehicles efficiently.

Ride requests are taken Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and on weekends and holidays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Youth Ride Free All Year Long

To ride free, simply show a valid school ID, RTA youth ID card, or any state-issued ID showing the rider is 18 or under.
