While we are currently accepting applications for Planning Commission, District 5, until Friday, April 11, 2025, at 4 p.m., we accept applications from all residents throughout the year. Any applications received during the calendar year will be provided to the appointing Council Member should a vacancy arise. Welcome to the City of Lake Elsinore Commissions and Committee information site. These community-based commissions play a vital role in bringing transparency, change, and growth to the City of Lake Elsinore. Thank you for your interest in serving.

The City Clerk's Office accepts applications all year long. Applications are kept on file through December 31 of each year. If you have any questions about the application process, please contact the City Clerk's Office at 951-674-3124, Option #6. Maddy Act

Government Code Section 54972, also known as the Maddy Act, requires that each legislative body, on or before December 31 of each year, the City Council shall prepare an appointment list of all regular and ongoing boards, commissions, and committees that are appointed by the City Council. This list is known as the Local Appointments List.

Persons interested in serving should fill out an application and submit the original to the City Clerk's Office at City Hall. All applications expire on December 31st of each year.
