Duties

The Measure Z Citizens’ Committee independently reviews and advises upon the City’s expenditure of proceeds generated by the transactions and use tax, also known as Measure Z funds. The Committee annually reviews and reports on (a) the City’s proposed and actual expenditure of proceeds generated by the transactions and use tax and (b) the independent annual audit as required by the Lake Elsinore Municipal Code. The Committee’s report is submitted to the City Council for review and discussion at a public meeting of the City Council.
