Sports Field Information

From time to time the City of Lake Elsinore will have to close the fields due to unsafe playing conditions, most commonly due to weather-related issues. If you are curious of the current field status for Lake Elsinore, bookmark this webpage or subscribe to our texting service below. The webpage will be updated when a change in field status occurs. 

Please note decisions regarding field status are typically made between noon and 2 pm on weekdays and before 2 pm on weekends. Every effort will be made to notify field users as early as possible. In some instances, facility users will be asked to use their discretion taking into account player safety and facility preservation.

As of Friday, January 9, 2026 (and until otherwise noted):  Various Fields have been deemed OPEN. FOR A GRAPHIC LIST OF FIELD STATUS PLEASE CLICK THIS LINK

Fields that are CLOSED are: 

• Alberhill Ranch Park - Fields 3 & 4
• Summerly Park - Fields 1 & 4
• Terracina Park
• Tuscany Hills Park - Red & Yellow Fields

Another rain event is expected to hit Lake Elsinore beginning 12/31/25 and through 1/8/26. This rain event will likely affect all field's status, with the exception of artificial turf fields.  Please respect any closures and avoid oversaturated areas to preserve the integrity of the fields.

Interested in reserving a field for your team/league? Download the Field Reservation Form (PDF) and submit it within seven days of the requested date. If a facility or similar is available, a staff member will contact you with a reservation permit.

Please note: As of September 2nd, 2019, a 2.75% convenience fee will be charged on all credit/debit card payments.
