About CERT

The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Program educates people about disaster preparedness and provides valuable training. CERT participants learn about hazards in their area, disaster preparedness tactics, and basic disaster response skills, including:

  • Fire Safety
  • Light Search and Rescue
  • Team Organization
  • Disaster Medical Operations

CERT Training

The City of Lake Elsinore provides CERT training in our area. The training is a commitment of 20 hours, at no cost to participants. Participants who successfully complete a combination of classroom and hands-on instruction in fire suppression, search and rescue, cribbing, and basic medical procedures.
