Summerhill Drive Turn Lane Project Notice

The Summerhill project is scheduled to begin on December 2. The timeline below reflects the planned construction phases and may be adjusted if weather or material availability changes. During the project, the left-turn pocket into Railroad Canyon Plaza will be closed, and drivers will need to enter the center from Railroad Canyon Road. In-N-Out has been notified, and the project is not expected to affect their operations.

In the first week, crews will set up traffic control, complete median demolition and saw cutting, and begin rough grading and survey work. Week two will focus on forming and pouring new curbs, followed by the start of asphalt grinding and overlay. During week three, crews will pour the center medians and continue or complete the asphalt overlay. The final week will include striping, sign replacements, clean-up work, and the removal of traffic control.

Night work will take place from 6:00 pm to 12:00 am. Limited day work will begin in week three, totaling six days, and will take place from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm.
