Bidding Process

The City of Lake Elsinore contracts with Planet Bids, Inc. to administer the Online Bidding System to assist the City and Vendors to better connect and find savings in the sourcing process. Follow the steps below to include your business.

Informal Bidding Process

The City of Lake Elsinore invites interested contractors to complete a Contractor's Pre-Qualification Application to be placed on the City of Lake Elsinore's qualified contractor list. The prequalification entitles each contractor to be informed of the "Notice Inviting Bids" for projects under $200,000. This process is administered under the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act. For more information about this process, please refer to California Public Contract Code § 22034.
